DESIGN PROCEDURE

Design Procedure:

Projects begin with an exchange of ideas, in person, or by phone, sometimes with an Interior Designer already on the job, or directly with a client, who may or may not require a designer.

Design elements, colours, and the clients creative vision, are where it all begins; photos of my previous work are an important catalyst.

Back in the studio, I will produce some working drawings and colourways illustrating examples of how I envision the project.

In some cases a fee is charged for these sketches. When the sketches are approved, I schedule the project, subject to a 50% deposit from the client which then confirms my time allocation for the project.
